This includes programming where you and I explore your needs, wants, and goals for the project. How do you envision the space being used? What needs exist for those using the space? What look or feel do you want to create? From these questions we determine the design structure and direction.

Turnkey Interiors, designed and managed from concept to completion. Ideal for new builds or full-home transformations.

Design
From that discussion, I will create a design concept that captures those elements and inspired ideas. Iteratively, we will work together to find the design you are most happy with as the maker of your space.
Includes:
Mood board
To-scale drawings including floor plans and elevations
Conceptual 3D renderings
Sourcing
Where the visuals start to come to life I will assist with sourcing furniture and items (ideally through local stores/sources with greatest delivery accessibility) per the decided concept.
Includes:
Shopping lists for lighting, accessories, furniture
product installation
site management & coordination
Initial 1-hour consultation $100
Hourly rate $175
Quote provided based on scope of each individual project typically by pre-decided hour amount. I offer sliding scale so that your design goals can remain accessible. The budget includes all the materials (furniture/decor), design hours, and installation.
Non-Profit Design
Integrated into the unique structure of each organization, Athala provides design services in a range of ways.
Includes:
internal design support for clients transitioning into permanent housing
interior design education via workshops
interior design services for the organization’s space with a focus on staff care
All design recommendations are community informed and chosen through a trauma-informed lens. It is important to understand how you realistically use the space, what you hope for the space to become, and collaborate with you to improve the collective and individual well-being of the whole community.
Your client’s Interior Designer
In partnership with case managers, I will work alongside the client as they design their home, including furniture, paint, accessories. And follow up design care.

Your Interior Designer
Following the same process as the residential services, I provide trauma-informed design for office headquarters, private therapy offices, shelters, etc with the purpose of supporting staff well-being.
Initial 1-hour consultation $100
